The ideal future

If augmented reality ushers in the sense of presence that's been lacking from online interaction for all these years, then a transformation will likely follow as work from home becomes practical and as businesses, schools, and communities see less need to build gathering spaces.

A future we seek to avoid

If like under the social media era, a handful of companies dominate this technological future, we can envision a new sort of economy taking place. One where a handful of corporations manage all the day-to-day conversations and transactions of people.

Corporations will be able to:

  • Ban us without recourse
  • Exploit us for profit.

Social media giants already ban their members on a regular basis without even stating the reason. A significant number of individuals have been denied banking services due to statements they have made online. Today, certain countries are handing out fines for online posts and even putting people in jail for what they say on the internet.

"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"  - Evelyn Beatrice Hall

For most, these platforms are not essential for life or income but one day virtual worlds will be the reality many call home.

  • Just imagine being separated from your primary means of communication with your closest friends
  • Just imagine being arbitrarily banned and losing access to the spaces you share together.

Moreover, if those corporations are leaned upon heavily by the government, these online spaces could become places where people worry about what they say out loud.

The Boundless future we fight for

Together we fight for a digital future where human life and freedom reign supreme.

  • We fight for a future in which the next generation will be able to speak their mind and be themselves
  • We fight for a future in which people can be with anyone, anytime, anywhere without fear
  • We fight for a future in which your life, property and freedom are truly your own
  • We fight for a future where people justly reap the rewards of their labor.
