The rule of the public in virtual society

Everything we are proposing depends on one key linchpin, namely that augmented reality will create a profound sense of presence to the extent that the civic life will begin shifting from merely happening in the physical to the digital.

Should augmented reality not achieve this, corporate domination becomes a non-issue.

Nonprofit has key

Corporations are a key part of our modern economy, but when it comes to managing civic life and the welfare of especially underprivileged individuals, the profit motive is simply the wrong incentive.

When it comes to social media, government only got involved much later, and they really made it harder for startups to compete with the established powers by creating regulation rather than resolving core issues. We must also be trepidacious about inviting those with the power of life and death into a space of freedom in which no one can die.

Boundless believes that proactive engagement before problems solidify is critical. Moreover, an approach that's tailored to nuance of the technological landscape at hand is key.
